EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP
Larry Schweiger
President and Chief Executive Officer
Larry Schweiger returned to the National Wildlife Federation in March 2004 with a commitment to confront the climate crisis and to protect wildlife for our children’s future. Previously, Larry served for eight years as President and CEO of the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy, where he pioneered watershed restoration and promoted ecological research, land conservation and community outreach. Prior to that, Larry was the Executive Secretary of the Joint House/Senate Conservation Committee for the Pennsylvania General Assembly, Senior Vice President for Conservation Programs at National Wildlife Federation, and 1st Vice President of the Chesapeake Bay Foundation.
Jaime Matyas
Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
Jaime is responsible for infusing National Wildlife Federation's mission, vision, and values throughout the organization. She manages day to day operations, initiates integrated marketing efforts and identifies new revenue and fundraising efforts. She oversees 300+ staff located in 10 offices around the US.

Stephen K. Allinger
Chairman
Stephen Allinger has served as Chair of National Wildlife Federation’s Board of Directors since 2011. With almost three decades of service to public education, Steve has worked diligently over the years to further the cause of conservation within the New York state government. Steve is currently Director of Legislation for the 600,000-member New York State United Teachers. Before joining National Wildlife Federation’s Board of Directors, Steve was an active board member of National Wildlife Federation’s affiliate, Environmental Advocates of New York.
