Coastal ecosystems span the breadth of our nation, providing rich habitat for wildlife and protection for communities as well as serving as economic engines. Yet our coastlines are threatened by increasingly intense storms, rising sea levels, and other climatic impacts. Join Chief Scientist Dr. Bruce Stein as he hosts a panel discussion with Federation experts on the threats facing these ecosystems and ways the Federation is working on the national level, with local communities, and on the ground to bolster these natural defenses in order to protect people and wildlife.
