Midwest

In the Midwest, there are 2 main networks that our Campus Ecology team works with.  Chicagoland Climate and Sustainability Network and The Upper Midwest Association for Campus Sustainability

The Upper Midwest Association for Campus Sustainability (UMACS) is a network of schools that came together in 2006 to help with the sharing of information and resources.  Since its inception, there have been 3 conferences and another one planned for September 2011 at the University of Minnesota, Morris.    There were also regional Climate Action Planning sessions- which provided an intimate gathering where schools could get hands on support for their climate action plans. UMACS mainly encompasses the following 3 States- Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa.  However, any school in the upper Midwest is welcome to join the gatherings.
