Global DimensionsIn 2011, a teacher from one of our Eco-Schools in Washington State took a trip around the world. During that trip, she had the unique opportunity to visit several Eco-Schools in other countries and to learn how those schools are going green!

Marcia Garrett
Einstein Middle School, Shoreline, WA

Now a world  traveller, Marcia Garrett is an inspiring science educator who has dedicated much of her energy to helping students understand and enjoy the natural environment and sustainability. She taught middle school science for 17 years, facilitates professional development for teachers, started a campus-wide organic gardening progam at Einstein Middle School in Shoreline, Washington and helped the school achieve the Eco-Schools USA Bronze Award.

RabiahRabi'ah's Story

Rabi’ah Ghazali
Education Specialist

Rabi'ah joined WWF-Malaysia in July 2011 to kick-start the Eco-Schools program in the country. She has a background in geography education and curriculum planning and hopes to put it to good use in helping schools in Malaysia implement environmental education through Eco-Schools.
