Global Dimensions Pathway

eight pathways global

The Global Dimensions pathway has been discontinued in the Eco-Schools USA program.

Because every environmental issue has both a local and a global component, we encourage schools to integrate global dimensions into every pathway they undertake within the Eco-Schools program.

Today's youth are part of a global society. To be good citizens, they need to be familiar with concepts related to sustainable development and to understand the environmental, social and economic impacts of their actions. They need to be knowledgeable about global issues and to feel empowered to play a part in sustaining our world.
