Decorate Garden Containers

Want to dress up your container garden? Decorating your terra cotta pots and planters is easy!

Paint: Non-toxic acrylic paints will adhere well and stand up to all weather conditions. Choose bright colors and apply a thick coat with a brush, making sure to let your pot or planter dry overnight before using it outside.

Mosaic: Small pebbles, shells, beach glass -- any of these decorations can be affixed to the side of your pot with ceramic grout. Simply spread on the grout and press your decorations into place. Smooth the spaces in between with a wet cloth or sponge and allow your pot to dry thoroughly before using.
