Find Nature in Your Neighborhood

Whether you want to investigate local service projects or simply hit the trail, here are two great ways to find outdoor resources near you.

Nature Find -- Nature Find is a terrific tool for finding nearby places where you can experience nature -- including events and family programs. Search by location or zip code to find nearby parks, nature centers, and other facilities, sorted by their distance, amenities, and recreational opportunities.

TrailLink -- The Rails to Trails Conservancy, a non-profit organization that helps communities convert unused railroad corridors into community trails, offers this unique resource for finding local trails. You can search trails not only by the activities they support, but by surface, length, and accessibility as well.
