Chill Out: Climate Action on Campus

Chill Out is America's first competition and awards program recognizing college and university innovations to reduce global warming pollution.  Beginning in 2006, we held the annual Chill Out competition to recognize the projects and people making a difference. The winners were showcased in a webcast to inspire action and leadership at high schools, colleges and universities nationwide.

This year we are teaming up with Campus Conservation Nationals to engage students in residence halls to take individual action to reduce their climate footprint.  These campuses are reducing energy and water usage and are creating videos to show how they are doing it.  Watch the videos, get ideas for your campus and take action!
