Chill Out and Compete to Reduce Your Footprint

This fall bring climate action ideas and solutions to your campus, club or classroom.  Chill Out 2011 is an engaging 30-minute program that features students and staff that are making a difference on campuses.

This is a great (and free) activity to plan for your annual Campus Sustainability Day.  You can register your Campus Sustainability Day events and get more ideas for hosting your own day here.

Download the Chill Out host packet for tips on hosting a great webcast event.  Then turn on your speakers, project onto a big screen, sit back and watch how colleges and universities are changing their surroundings and mentalities for the better.

After watching Chill Out, you will want to take action too!  Sign up for Campus Conservation Nationals and compete with other colleges and universities to reduce your footprint.  This three week long competition in the Spring of 2012 will help you reduce your electricity and water-usage and you will be able to see your stats and standings in real time.  Engage students on your campus and encourage positive changes in their personal lives and throughout campus.  Sign up today--the deadline to register is November 1, 2011.
