Contests

  • 2nd Annual Great American Can Roundup School Challenge -  The Can Manufacturers Institute is awarding $1,000 to a school in each state and the District of Columbia who recycles the most aluminum cans per student and an additional $5,000 to the top per capita recycling school nationwide.  That is in addition to the recycling proceeds earned from recycling. The contest period is from America Recycles Day (Nov. 15) to Earth Day (April 22) 2012.  You must register by December 15 to participate in the challenge.

2012 Craig Tufts Education Scholarship Announced

Students between the ages of 8-18 are welcome to apply for the Craig Tufts Educational Scholarship to attend a week-long nature adventure camp in Colorado. Learn more at www.nwf.org/CraigTufts or contact Eliza Russell to receive the application package.
