Objectives:

• To develop students' understanding of the meaning of sustainable development.

Learning Outcomes
Through work with the Global Dimension pathway, students will:

• Recognize the value and importance of conserving diverse natural habitats, resources and cultures.
• Recognize that minimizing local, national, and global inequality and striving for social justice are essential steps towards sustainability.
• Feel empowered and believe that their actions or involvement with others can make the world a better place.
