National Wildlife Federation recognizes that the challenge before us to reverse the threat of global warming is tremendous and will require major investments in solutions at the local, national and international level.

Our Climate & Energy Team is promoting a range of policy solutions to transition America to a clean energy economy:

We are working at all levels to ensure that our country is making the necessary investments in clean, wildlife-friendly, renewable energy sources to replace our dangerous dependence on dirty fossil fuels.
We are fighting to pass and protect laws that reduce carbon pollution and other air pollutants that drive climate change and endanger the health of our communities and wildlife.
We are advocating for fair and equitable solutions to the climate crisis that benefit all communities.
We are championing efforts to make our forests and farms wildlife and habitat-friendly, and part of the climate solution.
