Engaging Diverse Communities to Advocate for Global Warming Solutions

NWF's efforts to engage diverse communities is based on our firm commitment to building a big tent conservation organization that advances a shared vision for solutions to climate change that:

  • invest in communities;
  • empower leaders; and
  • jumpstart local engagement.

We recognize that everybody has a stake in the health of the environment, and together we can find solutions that work for everyone.

What We Do

  • Through our Fair Climate Project, we advocate for climate policies that provide economic opportunities, protect our natural environment, and invest in clean energy solutions for under-served communities.

  • We engage hunters and anglers in national, regional and state policy efforts to advocate for dedicated funding to safeguard wildlife and habitat from global warming and protect America's sporting traditions.

  • We work with students, educators, and faculty to help them make their campuses more sustainable, enhance their curriculum around green initiatives. and provide opportunities for them to engage in the grassroots movement around global warming action.
