The National Wildlife Federation is proud to announce The Brick Companies as a Mid-Atlantic regional sponsor for its eighth annual Great American Backyard Campout on Saturday, June 23.

“One of the greatest threats to wildlife is a generation of children entirely disconnected from nature,” said Tony Caligiuri, Mid-Atlantic regional executive director for the National Wildlife Federation. “With The Brick Companies generous support we can provide families a simple, inexpensive way to rediscover the joys of nature through the Great American Backyard Campout.”

The Brick Companies, a privately held company based in Edgewater, Md., that owns, develops, and manages commercial, residential and recreational properties, formed the TBC Foundation to formalize its “Good Works” as they relate to Social Responsibility and Environmental Leadership. The Mission of TBC’s Foundation is to support the programs and initiatives that benefit the communities in which their businesses operate. Under the Environmental Leadership arm of their good works TBC’s mission is to preserve and conserve unique natural spaces that reconnect people to the land and inspire others to do the same.
