Matching Find-and-Seek
Turn your backyard into one big matching game with this fun activity.
What you need:
What you do:
While you’re outside, ask your child to cover his or her eyes. Fill the bag with items from your yard or the surrounding area. Gather pine cones, a leaf or two, a red rock, a gray pebble, a dandelion, a y-shaped stick, and so on.
Then have your child reach in the bag and pull out an object. The hunt is on! Sit back and watch your child look for its match. Once that pair is found, ask your child to pull a new item from the bag and start over again!
