Will this app work on my iPad 1® or iPhone®?
No. Squirrel vs. Bird Feeder uses Apple technology only available on the iPad Mini and iPad 2 or later. It will work on your iPhone and iPod Touch.

How do I restart the app?
Restart the app by double clicking the round Home button on the front of the iPad. A row showing the applications that are currently open will appear across the bottom of the screen. Hold your finger on the Appventures icon until it shakes and the red circle appears. Tap the red circle to close the app. You may want to close other apps as well while you are playing with Appventures to improve functionality.
The app has a black screen, is frozen, or stuck on repeat. What do I do?
The quickest way to resolve this is to restart the app. (See above.) Closing other apps while you are playing with Appventures will free up memory and improve functionality.
If that does not solve the problem, turn off the iPad and then turn it back on again. To do this, hold down the On/Off switch on the top of the iPad, and then slide the red arrow to power off the tablet. Click the On/Off switch to turn the iPad back on.
If you are still having problems, double-check that you are running the most current operating system on your tablet.
As a last resort, delete Squirrel vs. Bird Feeder from your device and reinstall it from the App Store. One of these steps is highly likely to solve your problem.
I don’t hear any sounds on the app. What can I do?
- First, check that the iPad volume is turned up.
- Double-check that the Ring/Silent switch on the side of the device has not been set to silent mode.
- If these suggestions don't fix the problem, confirm that the iPad has not been set to Mute and the Ring/Silent switch has not been set to rotation lock. Double-click the round Home button on the front of the iPad. Swipe the tray at the bottom of the screen to the right to show your sound controls. Adjust as necessary.
- If you are still having difficulties, try turning the iPad off and then restart the app. (See above.)
- Finally, update to the latest version of the app if an update is available.

Squirrel vs. Bird Feeder does not launch anymore.
Removing and re-installing the game should fix this problem. Please note that you will lose your game progress and scores when you do this. If you have a backup of the game available from a time when it was still working, you can restore that with iTunes.
