About 33 small plastic bottle caps
About 2 medium-sized plastic caps or lids
80 clear adhesive or glue dots (1/2 inch in diameter and 1/8 inch thick; 3D, high-tack kind)
One old 45 rpm phonograph record (found at flea markets or antique stores) or a lid from a plastic container of ice cream. For a smaller flower, use an old CD.
Several small magnets (about 6; available in craft stores)
Prepare the record or CD
Attach the magnets to the back of the record with a few glue dots.
Design your flower
Create a design with the caps on the front side of the record.
Make the flower petals
Attach the caps to the record—or to each other, as shown—with glue dots.
