Amanda Ransone Moore is the Coastal Louisiana Organizer for the National Wildlife Federation. She works with the various stakeholder groups to address the alarming loss of coastal wetlands in Louisiana. Based in New Orleans, one of her primary tasks is to coordinate the MRGO Must Go Coalition - a group of 17 environmental, community, and social justice organizations working to restore the degraded wetland ecosystem that protects the Greater New Orleans area from storm surge. Amanda is also an on-the-ground team member for NWF’s oil disaster response efforts.
Since 2002, Amanda has worked on environmental issues for non-profit, public, and private organizations. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Mary Washington and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of South Florida.
