Aviva is the Legislative Representative for Agriculture Policy at National Wildlife Federation. Aviva works on policy efforts to protect and enhance wildlife habitat on working landscapes, to ensure funding for agriculture conservation programs, and to ensure that bioenergy is produced sustainably. She completed dual master’s degrees at the University of Michigan School of Natural Resources and School of Public Health in 2010. As part of her degree program, she worked on a master’s project team researching the impacts of corn ethanol expansion on wildlife in the Prairie Pothole Region of the United States. Aviva has over 6 years of experience working at environmental non-profits. She has previously worked for Beyond Pesticides, Michigan League of Conservation Voters, and the Ecology Center. She hails from Baltimore, MD and completed her undergraduate degree at Oberlin College in Biology and Environmental Studies.
