Regional Development Manager
Southeast Regional Center, Atlanta, GA
Brian is the Regional Development Manager for the Southeast Region, primarily focusing on developing and managing strategic partnerships with key partners and leading fund raising efforts to support regional and national programs through the cultivation of individual, corporate, foundation and government donors. Brian joined the National Wildlife Federation in 2010 with over 15 years of experience in non-profit development on the local, state and national level, and as a consultant helping to bridge the gap between the non-profit sector and the communities that would provide support by facilitating the strength of mutually beneficial relationships.
Prior to working in the non-profit sector, Brian worked in PR & Marketing with Columbia Healthcare and served in the US Navy as a cryptologic technician and rescue swimmer, which means he may have been involved in some rescue missions but cannot tell you anything about it or even acknowledge he was there.
Brian lives outside Atlanta in Clarkston, GA with his wife Deborah and two dogs, Guinness and Half Pint who all enjoy hiking and camping. Some of their recent adventures have taken them to the Mendenhall Glacier in Alaska, the Kalalau Trail along the Nepali Coast in Kauai, Hawaii, Mt. Ranier, Washington, and last year Brian joined Deborah in Maine to summit Mt. Katahdin as she completed her five month, 2,181 mile thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail.
