Southeast Regional Center - Atlanta, GA
Since joining the National Wildlife Federation in April of 2007, Christopher manages operations and supervises staff at the Southeast Regional Center in Atlanta. He leads the day-to-day functions and operations of the Center; administers budget, fiscal and grant responsibilities; and provides guidance and support to staff and their programs. He works closely and in partnership with the Regional Executive Director of the Center to ensure optimum delivery of regional programs and work in the Southeast.
Prior to arriving at NWF, Christopher gained extensive grant management and operational experience at the Boys & Girls Clubs of America National Headquarters, the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services in Washington.
He has been trained and certified as an NWF Habitat Steward and volunteers on an as needed basis. He is a member of the Audubon Society and the International Crane Foundation. He has a passion for orchid growing and birding, enjoying birding from his cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Georgia.
Christopher received his B.A. degrees in political science and psychology from the University of Kansas.
