Clare Bastable

Clare is thrilled to be back to the National Wildlife Federation after first working for NWF back in 1997 as a Campus Ecology Coordinator for colleges in the western US.  Most recently, Clare worked as an international consultant for the United Nations Development Programme and the US Government, focused on climate change adaptation in small island developing states.  Clare has also worked for the Western Energy Project, the Environmental Protection Agency and the Colorado Mountain Club.  She received her undergraduate degree from Bucknell University, and her Master’s degree in Public Administration/Environmental Policy from the University of Colorado.  Clare currently resides in western Colorado and enjoys mountain biking, backcountry skiing and fishing.
