Jennifer joined the National Wildlife Federation in December of 2000. As Outreach Coordinator for the Texas Living Waters Project, Jennifer’s charge is to educate activists, policy makers and the general public about the environmental implications of the state’s water policy, planning and management. Jennifer works to promote and encourage others to advocate for more sustainable practices that will benefit both people and wildlife.

Prior to her nine years with NWF, Jennifer garnered 11 years of experience in event planning and coordination, personnel and information management and working with the public through her past work, highlights of which were managing a fine dining restaurant and a stint working as a commercial Salmon fisherman in Southeast Alaska.

Jennifer is a Capital Area Master Naturalist. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Animal Sciences from the University of Illinois.
