Jerry established J.L. Little, Inc., a professional practice providing financial, (including SEC reporting) business, and tax advisory services to a variety of organizations, in 1982. The firm has a particular expertise in startup and turnaround engagements. Additionally, the services of J. L. Little, Inc., include interim/short-term Chief Financial Officer and/or Chief Operating Officer for public and private companies; coordination, management and oversight of all financial segments of companies; analysis and implementation of accounting department reorganization; financial reporting; implementation of enterprise-wide accounting systems; financial modeling; capital budgeting analysis, coordination and oversight of annual audit and quarterly review; and management of all phases of tax analysis, preparation and reporting needs.
Jerry is currently active in numerous professional organizations including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Northern Virginia Chapter of Certified Public Accountants, Hospital Financial Management Association, U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, and the Clifton Lions Club.
Jerry attended the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University where he received a BS degree in Accounting and is a member of Phi Kappa Phi, Beta Gamma Sigma, Beta Alpha Psi, and Alpha Phi Omega.
An avid hunter, angler, boater, and bird watcher, Jerry and wife Ranae are also back yard habitat gardeners.
