Regional Communication Manager, Conservation Programs
Great Lakes Regional Center
Jordan Lubetkin serves as senior regional communications manager for the Great Lakes office of the National Wildlife Federation, where he earns media coverage on advocacy campaigns to restore the Great Lakes; stop aquatic invasive species introductions; and uphold public access along Lake Erie shoreline. Jordan has overseen communications efforts of the 120-member Healing Our Waters-Great Lakes Coalition since its inception in 2005.
Prior to joining NWF, Jordan served as a reporter and editor at community newspapers around the country. He oversaw marketing and development efforts at the Toledo Jazz Society and gained media for the non-partisan Americans Discuss Social Security, based in Washington, D.C. Jordan earned a degree in English from Case Western Reserve University.
Jordan is an avid camper and canoeist, award-winning playwright, and fearless body surfer. Every year, he looks forward to rustic camping with his family and dog in Michigan’s rugged and beautiful Upper Peninsula. One of his favorite Great Lakes destinations (not in the Upper Peninsula) is Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore.
