Regional Development Manager
Mid-Atlantic Regional Center
Rebecca Neumann joined NWF’s Mid-Atlantic Regional Center in early 2011 where she now serves as Senior Regional Development Officer. Rebecca came to National Wildlife Federation with almost 20 year of non-profit fundraising experience in a variety of development disciplines, most recently in the Corporate and Foundation sectors. She has worked for some of the DC metro region’s premiere environmental and arts organization including Chesapeake Bay Foundation, EarthEcho International, and Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts. Rebecca received her B.A. in Theatre Arts and a minor in Business from The Pennsylvania State University.
Rebecca’s love for the environment developed early in life with a childhood full of sailing on the Chesapeake Bay, a love which she now shares with her husband and young daughter. As an extension of this passion, Rebecca and her family enjoyed a 9-month cruising sabbatical aboard a 45’ foot sailboat that took them as far north as Martha’s Vineyard to as far south as the Exumas in the Bahamas. She and her family now reside in Annapolis where they continue to get out on the water and explore the beauty of the Bay and the great outdoors whenever possible.
