NWF Regional Representative
Southeast Regional Center - Atlanta, Georgia
Ron works with the National Wildlife Federation’s state affiliate organizations in Alabama, Florida, Georgia and South Carolina. His work is focused on developing programmatic partnerships, expanding organizational capacity and enhancing volunteer leadership. Ron joined NWF in August 2002 and is based in the Southeast Regional Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
He has a B.B.A. in Marketing from the University of Georgia and a B.A. in Environmental Studies/Education from Warren Wilson College in North Carolina.
For more than twenty years, Ron has worked and volunteered in the non-profit conservation/environmental arena. Prior to NWF, he spent seven years of his professional career at the Chattahoochee Nature Center, the premier environmental education center in Georgia. As an education programs manager and naturalist at the nature center, Ron helped people of all ages and backgrounds develop an awareness, appreciation and affinity for the natural world. In addition to his environmental experience, he has a solid business background which includes management, finance, marketing and program design.
Ron is a lifelong naturalist who enjoys fly-fishing, hiking, camping, backpacking and canoeing with his wife and two children.
