The National Wildlife Federation Northeast Regional Center is pleased to announce that Carol Oldham has joined our team as NWF’s new Northeast Regional Outreach Coordinator. The Northeast Regional Office works in the six New England states, New York and New Jersey.

“The National Wildlife Federation is very excited and proud that Carol Oldham is joining the National Wildlife Federation team here in the Northeast,” stated Curtis Fisher, Regional Executive Director, NWF Northeast Regional Center. “Carol brings a track record of building strong coalitions and energizing a diverse array of volunteers, from conservationists to church leaders. Over the next few months, Carol will focus on protecting the Clean Air Act against attacks from polluters in Congress, ensuring that the federal budget reflects Americans’ support for protecting wildlife and leaving a conservation legacy to future generations and supporting clean energy initiatives.”

Carol has a decade of organizing and campaign experience, working most recently as the New England organizing manager for the Sierra Club. She is a strategic campaigner with extensive experience with grassroots outreach and coalition building, lobbying at the state and federal level, generating earned and social media, and managing organizers.

Prior to her position in Boston, Carol was the Eastern Parish Program Director for the Southern Mutual Help Association in Jean Lafitte, Louisiana. In this capacity, Carol served as a liaison with volunteer coordinators at churches and schools and launched the “Rural Recovery Task Force.”

“The position provides a perfect union between my interest in working with people and my passion for protecting wildlife and realizing a clean energy future,” said Oldham. “The National Wildlife Federation's remarkable history of accomplishments exemplifies a commitment to protecting our wildlife resources. As a lifelong outdoor enthusiast, I too am committed to the conservation of wildlife and natural systems and I am honored to work towards that end with the NWF.” Carol is based in Boston, Massachusetts.
