In Michigan, one out of every six residents hunt or fish. There are 1.7 million hunters and anglers in the state. Michigan sportsmen and sportswomen spend 3.3 billion dollars annually. These outdoor traditions provide over 46,000 jobs in Michigan alone.

Michigan Sportswomen Brenda Archambo and Danielle Korpalski went to Washington DC to discuss safeguarding Michigan’s natural resources and outdoor heritage with senators and members of Congress. Jenny Olsen, producer and co-host of Michigan Out Of Doors TV captured their meeting with US Senator Debbie Stabenow.
