06-30-2011 // Mekell Mikell
The nation’s leading thinkers are combining their energy and ideas to safeguard communities and wildlife in an increasingly warming world. 84 experts from federal, state and tribal agencies, NGOs and the private sector gathered in Washington, D.C. for the Adaptation 2011: Conserving Natural Systems in a Rapidly Changing Climate Workshop. The impacts of climate change, like massive wildfires and flooding in the U.S., are with us now and will be with us in the future. In the video, conference participants describe what we can do to protect our natural resources for future generations.

The landmark Adaptation 2011 workshop was hosted by the National Wildlife Federation and the National Council for Science and the Environment.
