DR. DOUG INKLEY RECENTLY VISITED Houma, Louisiana, to visit with people who work in the oyster industry. Since the start of the BP Oil Spill in late April, many oyster grounds have been shut down indefinitely. The long term effects of the oil spill on the bivalves remain unknown, leaving the people who depend on their harvest facing an uncertain future.
