OREGON RESIDENT RICK McEWAN was photographing at Medicine Lake in Jasper National Park in Alberta one summer. “As an afternoon thunderstorm broke, a rainbow appeared over the eastern side of the lake,” he tells us. McEwan used a Canon 35mm Rebel and a 200mm lens with Kodachrome film.
