Red deer in a snowstorm

Marcin Zagorski was following tracks of red deer early one February morning in the Peak District National Park in Great Britain when a snowstorm enveloped the area.  He caught up with the herd despite the weather.  “I could hardly see them through the blizzard and knew this would be my only advantage when trying to get closer as there was nowhere to hide on the open moorland.  Unfortunately, I was quickly spotted and the deer started moving.”  The Manchester resident used a Canon EOS 40D and a 120-300mm lens to capture the scene.
