Floral fireworks

LIKE A BURST OF FIREWORKS, a pale purple coneflower reaches skyward in a prairie restoration area near Winona, Minnesota.  Photographer Rebecca Klukas-Brewer says, “The North American tallgrass prairie is one of the most endangered ecosystems on our continent.”  The Winona resident used a Canon PowerShot S31S.
