Betsy Seeton found this young golden mantled ground squirrel on a wood pile at her cabin in Colorado. The squirrel was only a few weeks old and sniffing a dandelion, perhaps for the first time, when “he realized he could munch on it,” says Seeton. She used a Sony A100 camera to capture the discovery.
