Early Mountain Light

Pro photographer Daniel Ewert set up his camera gear at Mount Rainier National Park, Washington, early in the morning to capture the first rays of light hitting the mountain. "Although this area is covered with snow most of the year," the Florida resident writes, "these meadows burst into bloom every summer for a short season." Ewert used a Canon EOS 5D, 17-40mm lens and a tripod.
