PHOTOGRAPHER MARTIN KNIPPEL WRITES, “EVERY WINTER, bald eagles come to this area where the Wisconsin and Mississippi Rivers meet to feed in the open water. I found a group of eagles on a farm field near Prairie du Chien, apparently feeding on scraps of food left on the field.” That’s when he noticed this seemingly angry eagle. The Wisconsin resident used a Pentax K20D with a 500mm lens.
