Bill Harbin took a boat into pack ice in the Nemuro Strait, by the Shiretoko Peninsula in Japan, to photograph sea eagles. "This immature eagle was soaring over the mountains of northern Hokkaido," the Georgia photographer writes. Harbin used a Canon EOS-1D Mark IV and a 300mm lens.
