Photo of the Week: Grizzly-back Ride

A grizzly cub catches a ride on its mother's back to escape the deep Yellowstone snow

Pro photographer Trish Carney watched this grizzly sow and her cub of the year at Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. "The snow was deep for the cub, so it crawled onto Mom’s back as she was rooting the ground for food," the California resident writes. Carney used a Canon EOS 7D, a 500mm lens and a tripod.
