Nancy Graupner followed this bumblebee as it went from flower to flower in a garden. “I like this photo because the bee is standing on the leaf and poking its head into the ajuga blossom,” the Massachusetts resident writes. Ajuga, also known as bugleweed or carpet bugle, is an invasive in the wild but some varieties are planted for ground cover. Graupner used a Nikon D5000.
