Photo of the Week: Moment of Peace

Ronald Green was photographing these red-headed woodpeckers from a blind in his Minnesota backyard every day. “They were constantly fighting, and it was very challenging to get any shots of them together,” he writes. “This was a rare moment indeed. Shortly after, they resumed their fighting.” Green used a Canon EOS 20D and a 300-800mm lens.
