Photo of the Week: Waterfall in Pink

09-01-2012 // NWF Staff

Waterfall

This Cimbarra, or waterfall, lies in rugged terrain in the mountains of Sierra Morena in Andalusia, Spain. Spanish photographer Franciso Mingorance went there following a heavy rainfall to capture the cascading stream. The water was slightly pink from the elements washed into it by the rains, and his long exposure deepened the color. The Granada resident used a Nikon D3 and a 24-70mm lens with a tripod..
