Don and Esther Phillips photographed this blue jay during a snowstorm in Perry County, Pennsylvania. Not until later did they notice that one of the photos included a perfect snowflake that had landed on the back of the bird’s head. The Pennsylvania residents used a Nikon D300 and a 70-300mm lens.
