Lake Lightening

During the summer months, thunderstorms are almost daily occurrences over the southeastern United States. Tennessee River’s largest reservoir, Lake Norris, serves as a popular vacation spot that “gets many summer lightning storms where the reflection in the water is spectacular,” according to photographer Hazel Erikson. The Tennessee resident used a lightning trigger on her Canon EOS-1D Mark II.
