Longleaf Pine Restoration Celebration (Washington, D.C.)

Join NWF and the Longleaf Partnership Council in D.C. to celebrate five years of longleaf pine restoration progress. Attend a panel discussion featuring speakers including Secretary of Agriculture, Tom Vilsack, and Tom Tidwell of the U.S. Forest Service to discuss the progress of longleaf pine restoration. There will also be an awards ceremony following the panel discussion. Learn more about the celebration >>

Share your passion for wildlife by becoming a Habitat Steward volunteer! Learn how to create and restore wildlife habitat in backyards, schoolyards, and other private and public areas, and learn how to feel confident in helping others increase their wildlife habitat as well. The seven training classes take place September 4th through September 25th on Thursday evenings and Saturdays (including a fun potluck at the last class!). The cost is $45 which includes class materials, snacks, and a volunteer T-shirt and nametag. Deadline to register is August 18th

Save the Date: Georgia Campus Sustainability Network Annual Conference

Georgia Campus Sustainability Network is geared towards aiding higher education campuses across the state in meeting their sustainability goals. At our annual conference, leaders from a variety of campuses in Georgia will make presentations and answer questions about their energy conservation efforts, sustainability in their curricula, and student involvement in their green initiatives.
