Forestry CPR Online Training Course

Coast Redwood

We have developed a course to help build your knowledge about forests, and their role in reducing the impacts on climate change and storing carbon. After completing this course you should feel comfortable speaking with community members, leaders and officials about how they can take a more active role in protecting and improving your community so it can meet new challenges presented by climate change.

The course should take roughly 60 minutes to complete, and will cover the following topics:

  • How healthy forests relate to climate change.
  • Twelve actions that can be taken on forested land to help mitigate the impacts of climate change.
  • Actions that cities and local governments are taking right now to address climate change.
