Search Policy Resolutions
Approved policy resolutions dating back to 1975 may be searched using the form below. Type in keywords to begin your search. To refine your search results, please be as specific as possible in your keyword choices. Using multiple words and specific terms will give you a greater chance of quickly finding your desired resolution. For example: Typing in the word "wildlife" turns up 827 results; typing in "florida panther" turns up only 6 results.
Each policy resolution now has its assigned number. If you know the number of your desired resolution, enter it in the search bar in a yyyy-nn format ( 'y' = year, 'n' = number). If a numbered resolution contains a single digit, such as 1 or 5, please be sure to include a zero in front of the single digit. For example: 1998-05.
- Did you miss the January 14, 2014, webinar presented to affiliate leaders on the 2014 resolutions process? You can still listen to the presentation, which featured a trio of speakers and a question-and-answer session. Doug Inkley, NWF Senior Scientist, reviewed how resolutions guide national policy, and cited lead shot, feral swine and big-game ranching as examples. Joe Wilkinson, board member of Iowa Wildlife Federation, explained how the Great Plains Working Group was shaped by the policy resolutions process and the group's use of the process to help achieve policy goals. Joshua Saks, NWF legislative director, explained how the policy resolutions guide NWF's policy staff almost daily.
