National Wildlife Federation Today
NWF continues to inspire Americans to protect wildlife for our children's future.
This vision demands a strategic plan that accommodates change. A one-size-fit-all conservation approach is not suitable. Accepting varying attitudes, values, and beliefs, while encouraging an integrated and collaborative approach to conservation, promote lifelong learning and growth.
The benefits of assimilating an integrated, stakeholder-based conservation model:
- Strong state affiliates
- Constituent and member growth
- Effective engagement over a broad constituent base
Darling's ideals continue to mainstream NWF conservation imperatives, goals, and objectives. Their drive and initiative encourage sustainable conservation policy and promote transparent natural resource management.
We do not know what the future holds. It is critical that we continue to embrace change. We are the largest big tent conservation federation, and in cooperation with state affiliates, continue to strategically position ourselves as national conservation leaders.
