In order to increase awareness of the need for wildlife conservation and staying connected with nature, National Wildlife Federation partners with major motion pictures to provide educational guides and activities that are distributed in classrooms across the country.

Young adventurer Sean Anderson, in this exciting follow-up to “Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D,” receives a coded distress signal from a mysterious island where no island should exist --- a place of strange life forms, mountains of gold, deadly volcanoes, and more than one astonishing secret. Unable to stop him from going, Sean’s new stepfather joins the quest. Together with a helicopter pilot and his beautiful, strong-willed daughter, they set out to find the island, rescue its lone inhabitant and escape before seismic shockwaves force the island under the sea and bury its treasures forever.

National Wildlife Federation has teamed up with Happy Feet Two to encourage people of all ages to take the steps necessary to learn about and to protect amazing wildlife species such as penguins and wild places such as Antarctica.
Mumble, The Master of Tap, has a problem because his tiny son, Erik, is choreo-phobic. Reluctant to dance, Erik runs away and encounters The Mighty Sven—a penguin who can fly! Mumble has no hope of competing with this charismatic new role model. But things get worse when the world is shaken by powerful forces. Erik learns of his father’s “guts and grit” as Mumble brings together the penguin nations and all manner of fabulous creatures—from tiny krill to giant elephant seals—to put things right.

Born to be Wild 3D is a story of the remarkable bond between humans and animals. It is about love, dedication, and saving endangered species one life at a time. In the film, you’ll meet baby orangutans and elephants who have lost their families. You’ll also meet the extraordinary people who rescue these orphans. Dr. Biruté Mary Galdikas works with orangutans in the lush rainforests of Borneo. Dame Daphne M. Sheldrick works with elephants on Kenya’s rugged savannah. Together, they and their teams are raising these incredible animals and returning them to the wild.

Jellystone Park™ has been losing business so greedy Mayor Brown decides to shut it down and sell the land. That means families will no longer be able to experience the natural beauty of the outdoors - and, even worse, Yogi and his pal Boo Boo will be tossed out of the only home they’ve ever known. Faced with his biggest challenge ever, Yogi must prove that he really is "smarter than the average bear" as he and Boo Boo join forces with Ranger Smith to find a way to save the park from closing forever.

The National Wildlife Federation teamed up with the makers of the family comedy Furry Vengeance to educate children about the importance of getting outdoors and protecting wildlife. Furry Vengeance is a hilarious feature film for the entire family starring Brendan Fraser as a real estate developer whose latest project threatens the habitats of local forest creatures. The woodland critters, who don't want their homes disturbed, seek comical revenge by turning a peaceful neighborhood into a battlefield of epic proportions.
The National Wildlife Federation teamed with the feature film Where the Wild Things Are, and Be Out There™ to get families and kids to spend daily time outdoors for their health, happiness and well-being. Directed by Spike Jonze and based on Maurice Sendak's classic book, Where the Wild Things Are is an adventure for every generation, the story of a sensitive and rambunctious young boy who feels misunderstood at home and escapes to the island of the Wild Things.
The National Wildlife Federation partnered with Walden Media (makers of Narnia, Holes, Charlotte's Web and Hoot) for the national release of a great family movie, Nim’s Island, to reach millions with a delightful story, conservation education and opportunities for action to protect wildlife. The movie tells the fictional story of Nim, a young girl who, with the help of her animal friends, seeks to rescue her scientist father who is lost at sea, and save her secluded island.
