Materials
- Containers
- Food coloring
- Queen Anne's Lace
Steps
Gather your flowersTake a walk around the yard and gather several Queen Anne's Lace flowers.
Fill containers
Fill several containers with water.
Add food coloring
Dye the water in each container with a different color of food coloring.
Add flowers
Place some Queen Anne's Lace in each container.
Watch for Results!How long did it take for the colored water to travel up the stem and color the flowers?
